Deposits & Milestones
To officially initiate a project with D-KODE, a 50% upfront deposit is required. The remaining 50% balance is due when the project is nearing completion.
Payment Breakdown:
- Standard Flow: You will pay 50% at the start. After the project is 95% complete, we will ask for the final payment via our tracking page. You can pay anytime, but full ownership and admin panel access will not be granted until the total amount is cleared.
- Domain Names: Domain prices (e.g., .com, .lk, .hu) are not included in the 50% deposit. If you order a website + domain, you must pay the 50% project deposit PLUS the 100% domain cost upfront.
- Installment Plans: If preferred, payments can be split into 4 quotas. Opting for this 4-part structure will add a 4% surcharge to your total project cost.
02 REFUNDS
Our Strict Refund Policy
Because our work involves reserving dedicated time and resources for our developers and designers, we enforce a strict refund policy to protect our workflow.
Cancellation Rules:
- Non-Refundable Deposits: The 50% upfront deposit is strictly non-refundable once a project has started. If you change your mind or decide not to proceed, the deposit is forfeited.
- Domain Fees: Domain registration fees are non-refundable as they are paid directly to registrars.
- Domain Ownership: Even in the event of a canceled project, we will hand over full access and ownership of any domain purchased on your behalf.
03 RIGHTS
Developer Rights & Promotions
As the creators of your digital assets, D-KODE retains specific rights to showcase our craftsmanship and claim credit for the development of the project.
- Footer Attribution: We will add a discrete "Designed & Developed by D-KODE" link to the footer of your website.
- Promotional Content: We record video walkthroughs of the finished projects. We reserve the right to upload these to our YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook pages, and WhatsApp statuses.
- Portfolio Listing: Completed projects will be proudly listed and displayed on our official "Works" page.
04 HOSTING
Hosting & Revisions
We want your systems to run flawlessly. However, maintaining server resources requires timely payments. Every package also comes with a set limit on revisions to prevent scope creep.
Service Guidelines:
- Monthly Hosting: Payments must be made at least 7 days before the due date. If missed, we will attempt to contact you for one month. If unpaid after that month, your project will be removed from our servers.
- Annual Hosting: For 1-year or 2-year plans, we will notify you 1 month before expiration. We will wait an additional 1 month grace period before server removal.
- Revision Limits: Revisions are strictly limited to the amount specified in your chosen pricing package.
